Salsabrava welcomes you to our Salsa classes for “Letøvede” (Intermediate)…now with a new program and the 10 secrets to be a better salsa dancer.
Salsa education on a high level, breaks to relax and mingle and both male and female teachers! At Tuesday
24 th of August we start up with a new class for inter-mediate dancers. We have compiled a new program particularly well suited for this level. If you want to improve you Salsa skills rapidly, Salsabrava’s classes are the place to be!
You will learn:
- Sensual combinations and how to make elegant dips.
All the footwork will be showed in both male and female version. We will bring the men’s skills to lead and the women’s ability to follow to perfection and go thru different spinning techniques and how to use them in several dancing situations.
- We will show the female students different easy to use footwork and hand shines especially for the ladies (lady styling). They can be used for freestyle or together with your dance partner. Fernando will also go thru footwork and how to dance with a “macho attitude” for the males students. We will make coordination and movement exercises you can easily practice at home in front of the mirror.
- On top of that we will go thru the 10 secrets to be a better salsa dancer so you can feel even more in charge on the dance floor! After finishing this level, you will be ready for the "øved/advanced" level.

- Session 1: Combination with dip, coordination/movement exercises, footwork
- Session 2: Combination, spinning techniques, how to vary the basic steps
- Session 3: Combination, secret 1-5 for to be a better salsa dancer, ladies footwork
- Session 4: Combination with dip, footwork, the characteristics of the cross body style
- Session 5: Combination, spinning techniques, hand shines for ladies
- Session 6: Combination, ladies footwork, the characteristics of the cross body style
- Session 7: Combination, secret 6 -10 for how to be a better salsa dancer, footwork
- Session 8: Combination, how to vary the basic steps, we will bring CAKE!
We will start all the classes with a short recapitulation of the combinations and footwork we did the week before. This will help you to remember what you learn and to bring your style to perfection!
We can also make a short break to give you the change to relax for some minutes so you can easily keep the concentration thru the whole session. This is also a great possibility for you to mingle and to get to know the other students better if you feel for it.
The class is designed especially for Salsa dancers who already know the basic steps and combinations. We teach the elegant and popular Salsa cross body style on “1”.

(7 sessions, from 24/08 to 05/10-2010).
We give also private course & salsa shows.
